Mercury gas escaping dental fillings
This is scary. Smoking Teeth = Poison Gas—the bluntly titled video from the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology—uses a fluorescent light and phosphorescent screen to show mercury vapor coming out of a 25-year-old dental amalgam at body temperature. The vapor is 1,000 times the atmospheric mercury limits imposed by the EPA.
OH my gosh...i always knew a little bit but this is so AWFUL...it makes me so sad. what can people with metal fillings do to remove them safely? ps. i blogged it
It is sad and angering, especially if you are a victim of amalgam fillings yourself. There are now many holistic dentists that practise safe removal of amalgam fillings. There are however incorrect ways of removing these fillings too, so be sure you consult with an experienced dentist. See the website below for comprehensive info on safe amalgam removal etc.

Prior to posting, beliefs and propogating incorrect information, one should read the report at nap.edu on fluoride.
If more people read the report more accurate information could be disseminated.
I knew mercury was bad, but this blew my mind
mercury at those levels is not dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes Josh, and we know we can believe you because you use so many exclamation points.
Yes it does when heated. To see mercury vapor fall you cannot heat it up in a cold room.
So now go watch "The Beautiful Truth (excerpts)" and see mercury fall.
It is doing exactly what the laws of physics dictate and the Jerome analyzer only measures mercury vapor.
