Cell Phone Radiation Blog Series - All In One Place

Last September, EWG released a Cell Phone Radiation Science Review and a first-of-its-kind database showing the radiation levels of thousands of cell phones. The response was huge - not surprising, given how increasingly attached we are to our phones.
The report is chock-full of information, but we know that not everyone has time to sit down and read it all, so we created a cell phone radiation series here on Enviroblog to break it down into more manageable chunks. Here it is, all in one place for easy perusing:
Stay tuned in coming weeks for an update to EWG's cell phone database - we're adding new phones to keep it current. (Hop on our email list to be sure to get the latest news.)
If you want to recycle old cell phones and chargers there's a good website -haveUrebooted.com (mail-in label or drop off location).
-Cell phones are one of the least recycled electronics in the world and over 100,000 go out of use every year in the US alone. They are horrible for the environment if they get thrown away and every part of them can be recycled
Thanks and hope you consider it :)
Great job on this summary of cell phone radiation by the Environmental Working Group. Your information is well presented and sensible. The EWG's report is big and you did a good job boiling it down.
The goods facts on what radiotelephone phone syndrome is and what topical search says some its personalty on your healthWe're not informatory you to communicate up your cell sound (equivalent you would). Instead, use these elementary tips on how to minify the assets of emission reaching from your phone. The specific absorption range, or SAR continuance, measures how often radiation your embody absorbs. We trauma consume the factors that affect SAR (how you use the phone, where you use the sound, what merciful of phone you human), so you bang how to downplay what goes into your body

Whilst there’s little evidence that mobiles produce sufficient levels of radiation to cause any lasting ill effects, there’s no harm in taking simple precautions to reduce the levels of radiation you absorb from using your Mobile Phone or Cell Phone. There is a lot information at http://www.radiation.uphero.com about this subject, including recommended phones and which ones to avoid.
I also really like how it is summarized. Great job.
I am currently trying to start a public discussion if the public should be warned more about cell phone radiation!
Please feel free to comment on my facebook group discussion.
